Surveys and reviews
Objective: detect and analyse citizens' and businesses' attitudes towards access to justice, the level of knowledge and use of ADR methods, their quest for simplification when acceding justice, their perceived degree of justice-related rights protection. By conducting surveys and law reviews, the final goal is about setting up effective communication and dissemination strategies to promote mediation/conciliation procedures
Main actions
2.1 Surveys on citizens' and enterprises' access to justice, focused on the level of knowledge and use of conciliation/mediation procedures
2.2 Comparative law review at European, national and local scale
2.3 Transnational workshop in ES aimed at disseminating the surveys' results and defining the communication and dissemination strategy
2.4 Elaboration of a final report on the surveys’ results and on the best communication and dissemination practices adopted in the partner countries
Role of each partner
RER: scientific coordination of the analysis, realisation of the questionnaire template, collection of information from the partners and elaboration of final report. Subcontracting activities for statistical surveys. Organisation of transnational workshop aimed at exchanging analysis results.
All PPs: gathering information, realisation of surveys and contribution for the realisation of a final report; participation to the transnational workshop
Impact: the results of the analysis will provide a general overview of citizens' and businesses' needs in terms of level of knowledge and use of ADRs systems, especially in cross-border disputes and will provide exchange of methodologies for dissemination and communication strategies towards citizens and businesses
